Graduating beauty school in 1991, and after raising five children, Dawnette assessed and certified to become a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems in 2004. Inspired by her mentors, she opened studio-style Alacrity Salon in 2006. Gathering business practices from top industry leaders, she is a Big Fish in a Small Pond (Modern Salon, 2010), and an honored recipient of the 2014 Professional Haircolor Educator Award. Always learning, always searching for new and exciting ways to bring life and love to her clients, Dawnette strives to provide Big City Style with a Small Town Feel!
